WK GRAVEL

THE IDEA

We set out to capture the essence of the World Championships Gravel, a two-day event where elite athletes and thousands of participants raced through beautiful terrains of the Brabant Woods, starting in Halle and finishing in Leuven. The goal was to create an 8-minute aftermovie that celebrated the connection between nature and competition, including interviews with key stakeholders and participants. We also provided on the spot edited reels to create online engagement.

THE CHALLENGE

With a fast-paced schedule, we delivered six same-day reels daily, capturing key moments while covering the entirety of the event. Our team of 3 videographers, 1 on-site editor, and 1 assistant had to work seamlessly to ensure timely delivery.

THE JOURNEY

The production spanned three days, capturing the build-up, the Women’s Elite race, the Men’s Elite race, and the broader audience of over 2,600 participants. We blended raw competition footage with intimate interviews, including conversations with the ANB forest ranger and event organizers, to reflect the true spirit of the event.
